Abstract:

Deliverable 9.4 is the final Exploitation Plan for FIRST project. The purpose of this Plan is to present all of the planned exploitation activities carried out within this three-year project. Furthermore, by providing the information necessary for business plans and pricing schemes to be developed, this Plan aims to facilitate the successful exploitation and commercialization of the Open Book software product.

Included in this final Plan are the stakeholders’ analysis and different business models implementation, which are now extended and presented in greater detail; details of stakeholder, assistive technology and government programmes for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) according to their geographic market; a description of the software product; findings of market research on similar products; statistical data for the current financial environment; and an analysis of the product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). Exploitation scenarios, business model assessment in terms of the 4P’s and an analysis of the prototype readiness for commercial realization have also been added to the Plan.

The stakeholders’ analysis and the different business models implementation from the previous versions of the deliverable are extended and described here more precisely. Stakeholders, assistive technology and different governmental programmes for people with ASD are described in the terms of geographic markets.

A description of the software product, findings of market research on similar products, statistical data for the current financial environment and a SWOT analysis about the product are also included in the final exploitation Plan to enable future development plans and  pricing schemes to be developed.

Exploitation scenarios, business model assessment in the terms of the 4P’s and analysis of the readiness of the prototype for commercial realization have also been added, facilitating the successful exploitation and commercialization of the FIRST project results.
